A Flintlock Blunderbuss Pistol by Williams of Chatham. With belled octagonal to round barrel, fitted below with a sprung bayonet, and shaped at the breech with London proofs, engraved box-lock action, signed on an oval surrounded by stands of arms to the left and signed ‘CHATHAM’ within an oval surrounded by stands of arms to the right, fitted with a sliding safety catch that also locks the pan, slab-sided walnut butt with vacant oval escutcheon.
