With slightly swamped barrel, with a sprung bayonet fitted to the right side and ramrod below, stamped with London proofs, border engraved box-lock action, signed ‘RICHARDS’ on a foliate scroll to the left and decorated with garlands and a steel bayonet release catch to the right, slab sided walnut butt.
