A Fine Pair of Small Pocket Pistols by Prosser. With round turn-off barrels, decorated with simple line engraving at the muzzles, stamped at the breech with London proofs and decorated with sun-bursts beneath the pans, border engraved box-lock actions, signed ‘PROSSER’ within an oval surrounded by stands of arms to the left and ‘LONDON’ within an oval surrounded by stands of arms to the right, fitted with sliding safety catches that also lock the pans, chamfered slab-sided walnut butts with shield-shaped escutcheons. In lovely condition overall.
