An Early Queen Anne Flintlock Pocket Pistol. With two-stage turn-off cannon barrel (frozen), engraved ‘LONDON’ across the breech, and engraved with a geometric band, border engraved tang, border engraved action and cock, plain trigger guard, rounded butt with raised moulding around tang and rear of action, silver wire inlaid in a foliate design, scrolling silver wire side-decoration. A scarce early pistol.
