With plain browned barrel stamped with inspection marks and Tower proofs, barrel tang stamped with crown inspection mark, flat border engraved lock with 'GR' crowned and 'TOWER' across the tail retain gin traces of storage grease and struck below the pan with crowned broad arrow mark, ring necked cock, varnished full-stock with raised apron no marks on the woodwork at all, regulation brass mounts now mellowed to a dark mustard/black, iron belt hook and brass tipped ramrod. This is the best Sea Service I have ever seen. It has never been issued and the metal and wood are as crisp today as they were when it was stored.
