An Early Flintlock Turn-Off Pistol by G. Halfhide, Circa. With round two-stage cannon barrel, polygonal breech engraved with scrolling foliage in front of the stepped ramp at its rear, the top flat inscribed LONDINI, signed border engraved lock decorated with sprays of foliage, cock and steel each with raised border, rounded figured butt carved in relief with raised mouldings around the tang and lock (possibly re-stocked during its working life), separate trigger guard engraved with a flower head on the bow, cast and chased silver mounts comprising side-plate, vacant escutcheon and lions-head butt cap.
