A Westley Richards Monkey Tail Carbine
A Percussion Breech Loading Westley Richards Monkey Tail Carbine. Of regulation pattern, the lock dated ’1865’ within a triangle and signed, ‘WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co.’ full-stocked in walnut (small crack running from rear of loading lever to side-nail, see photograph) with plain steel furniture comprising two barrel bands and sling swivels.
