A 54 Bore Percussion Transitional Six-Shot Revolver signed Roberts, London. With blued octagonal sighted barrel (some loss of finish) engraved around the muzzle and with a foliate scroll on the top flat at the breech, signed along the top flat and rifled with fourteen grooves, fluted cylinder with recessed nipples and numbered from '1' to '6', border engraved rounded action with nipple-shield, retaining some blueing and decorated with foliate scrollwork, butt and trigger-guard en suite, the former with ovoidal steel cap with hinged circular butt-trap cover engraved with a flower-head, bar-hammer engraved with ropework along the top, chequered rounded grips, and some original finish (light rust patination), Birmingham proof marks.
