With browned sighted barrel, engraved ‘WILLIAM ELLIS 61 JAMES St, LONDON’ with foliate engraved breech block with double gold line, profusely engraved tang fitted with rear-sight, profusely engraved signed lock decorated with scrolling foliage throughout and blued sliding safety catch, half-stocked in walnut, cut with a deep band of chequering at the grip, blued, engraved steel mounts, comprising beautifully engraved butt cap, trigger guard decorated with scrolls on the bow with stylised pineapple finial and numbered ’332’ with horn fore-end, brass tipped ramrod with concealed worm. The pistol retains nearly all original finish. In outstanding condition overall.
