A Superb 28 Bore Double Barrelled Percussion Officers Pistol by Horton of Salop. With octagonal barrels, signed along the top flats and decorated with sprays of foliage at the breech, fitted with a top mounted bayonet, stamped with Birmingham proofs, profusely engraved box-lock action, fitted with sliding safety catches, cocks decorated en suite, finely chequered walnut grip with vacant oval escutcheon, engraved steel butt plate with trap, profusely engraved trigger guard. The pistol retains much original finish, a fine example.
