An 1854 Pattern Officers Sword of The Scots Guards by Wilkinson, No. 14570. With slightly curved single edged blade, double edged towards the point, cut with a shallow fuller running along the back edge of the blade, etched with foliage, crowned VR cypher, regimental badge and all battle honours, regulation plated steel hilt incorporating regimental badge, wire bound fish skin covered grip, in original scabbard. Pitting to the grip and scabbard, the blade remains in good overall condition.
