A 25-Bore Percussion Coastguard Pistol, dated 1849. With round sighted barrel, retaining original blacking and heavily stamped with London proofs and military marks, flat lock with ‘VR’ crowned and ’TOWER 1849’ retaining some original colour figured full stock stamped with numerous inspection marks and stock makers marks, regulation brass mounts including ovoid butt cap with lanyard ring.

This pistol is missing a screw and the belt hook.
