With re-browned sighted octagonal barrel, signed in script John Manton & Son Dover Street, London profusely engraved breech plug, with engraved platinum vent, profusely engraved tang incorporating rear-sight, border engraved lock decorated with scrolling foliage throughout and signed, JN MANTON & SON PATENT long nosed cock decorated en-suite, half-stocked in walnut and cut with chequering at the grip, with engraved rectangular escutcheon, profusely engraved steel mounts comprising butt cap, trigger guard and ramrod pipes.
