A Superb Pair Of Percussion Duelling Pistols by Forsyth of London, With browned octagonal barrels signed along the top flat and stamped beneath with London proofs, case-hardened breeches with double platinum lines and platinum plugs, beautifully foliate engraved tangs, signed back action locks decorated with scrolling foliage and fitted with sliding safety catches, cocks engraved en-suite, characteristic half-stocks with deeply chequered grips, blued trigger guards with foliate engraved bows, stock, lock and ramrods all stamped with serial number. A fine and scarce pair of high quality pistols.
