An Early Pair Of Flintlock Holster Pistols by Robert Harvey, Circa 1705. With three stage round  barrels cut with a sighting groove at the breech, foliate engraved tangs also cut with sighting grooves, stamped with London proofs and Harveys own mark, signed border engraved 'banana shaped locks' engraved with scrolling foliage, the cocks decorated en suite, figured full stocks carved in relief around the barrel tangs and locks, silver long eared butt caps decorated with grotesque masks, completed with steel mounts throughout comprising scrolling foliate side-plates, signed foliate escutcheons, trigger guards with acanthus leaf finials and border engraved bows, turned ramrod pipes and horn tipped wooden ramrods. An extremely scarce pair of early pistols.
