A Royal Naval Midshipmans Dirk. With etched blade decorated with scrolling foliage, crowned fouled anchor and Royal cypher, signed ‘GIEVE, MATTHEW & SEAGROVE LTD’ at the forte, (the blade has nicks to the cutting edge and some areas of pitting), regulation brass hilt with an embossed fouled anchor on the langet, wire bound fish skin grip, in its original brass mounted leather scabbard, the locket engraved, ‘G.M.McK’ and retaining its original belt.
