With round blued sighted barrel, retained by two barrel bands, stamped ‘TURNERS PATENT’ and with rear ladder sight, plain tang, border engraved lock, signed ‘THOMAS TURNER 8 FISHER STREET BIRMINGHAM’ full-stocked in walnut, cut with a band of chequering at the grip, with unusual engraved steel butt cap, plain trigger guard and brass tipped steel ramrod.
