A Huge 15 Bore Continental Military Pistol. With plain round barrel, stamped with Liege proof at the breech, plain steel tang, bevelled lock stamped with what appears to be the serial number, ‘852’ underneath the pan and with an Eagle (?) arsenal mark on the tail of the lock, plain reinforced cock, full-stocked in walnut with brass mounts comprising side-plate, butt cap with lanyard ring, trigger guard and barrel bands, stamped ‘K9’ steel ramrod. In what appears to be untouched condition.
