A German Left Hand Dagger, Circa 1590. With sharply tapering double edged blade of flattened hollow-diamond section, rectangular ricasso stamped with the blade smiths mark for Tesche Clemens (Solingen 1570-1590) hilt comprising flattened arched quillons widening towards the tips, circular side-ring with fluted central bar, with pommel of fleur-de-lys form with button, and twisted icon wire bound grip between Turks heads (some scattered pitting).
