A Flintlock East India Company Long Sea Service Pistol, dated 1808. With plain barrel and tang struck with London Gunmakers proof marks, border engraved flat bevelled lock with East India Company mark and dated on the tail, border engraved ring-neck cock, figured full stock with apron around the tang and inspectors marks on one side of the butt, regulation brass mounts, belt hook (possibly a replacement) and later brass tipped ramrod.
