A Crisp Percussion Pocket Pistol by S. Nock of London. With octagonal turn-off barrel, signed ’S. NOCK LONDON’ along the top-flat, the barrel slightly loose, the barrel numbered ‘2’, profusely engraved box-lock action, blued flip out trigger, fitted with sliding safety catch, engraved dolphin hammer, profusely engraved butt-cap with trap, swelling walnut butt. In very good condition overall retaining much original finish. London proofs.

Samuel Nephew of Henry, apprenticed to uncle, 1791; free of Gunmakers Co., 1800. Took Livery, 1820. Elected Assistant, 1833; Master, 1836.
