A Cased Pair of Continental 25 Bore Percussion Target Pistols. With fine sighted octagonal barrels each rifled with ten grooves, deeply chiselled tangs fitted with rear leaf sights, signed back action locks decorated with engraving at the tails of the locks, cocks decorated en suite, half-stocked in walnut with fluted butts carved with symmetrical scrolling foliage in low relief against a finely punched back ground on the fore-ends, white metal barrel bolt escutcheons and no provisions for ramrods; in original veneered wooden case fitted and lined in velvet with all accessories including powder flask, bullet mould etc. A fine set.
