A Cased 40-Bore Percussion D.B. Box-Lock Travelling Pistol by Samuel Nock. 

With sighted barrels (some old light pitting) engraved with foliage around the muzzles and 'LONDON' along the rib, foliate engraved sighting groove, border engraved action decorated with foliate scrollwork and signed in capitals along the tang, foliate engraved dolphin hammers, reblued trigger-guard decorated en suite with the action, border engraved rounded butt-cap with hinged circular butt-trap cover decorated with a flower-head, finely chequered figured rounded butt, vacant silver escutcheon, and stirrup ramrod, the tip engraved with a flower-head: in later relined and refitted mahogany case with some accessories including powder-flask and steel bullet mould, the interior of the lid with reproduction Samuel Nock trade label, the exterior with circular vacant brass escutcheon, London proof marks.
