With turn-off barrels stamped with Birmingham proofs, numbered ‘2’ and ‘3’ at the breech, border engraved box-lock action profusely engraved with stands of arms and signed within an oval to the left and LONDON to the right, fitted with a sliding safety catch that also locks the pan, swelling walnut butt cut with chequering along the back-strap, with vacant diamond shaped escutcheon, simple trigger guard decorated with a star burst on the bow.
