A 22-Bore Flintlock Duelling Pistol by Innes of Edinburgh. With sighted re-browned octagonal barrel, decorated with a gold band at the muzzle and with rear-site, gold line and gold touch-hole at the breech, foliate engraved tang, signed stepped bevelled lock, fitted with sliding safety catch, full-stocked in walnut, with steel mounts comprising trigger guard with unusual shield-shaped silver escutcheon and silver badge above, with original owners initials engraved, and stylised pineapple finial, with powder-measure ramrod.

Shop in Edinburgh, Scotland. Had Royal Warrant. Made all metal flintlock pistols with scroll butt and cased flintlock duelling pistols, also made single and double barrel flintlock fowling pieces and Ferguson flintlock breech-loading rifles. Had Royal Government contract for flintlock holster pistols and flintlock muskets.
