A Flintlock Officers Fusil by Wallis of Hull. With round sighted barrel, with fixed rear sight, stamped with Tower of London proofs, plain tang, border engraved lock engraved with a crown and signed WALLIS across the tail (crack to rear of cock), full-stocked in walnut (some old repairs to wood) with raised apron around the tang, brass furniture comprising side-plate butt plate, trigger guard and ramrod pipes, steel ramrod. The escutcheon is engraved with original owners initials.
