A .577 Two Band Pattern 1853 Percussion Artillery Carbine, 2nd Model of 1858, Belgian Contract. With round sighted barrel fitted with bayonet lug and leaf-sight, plain tang, plain lock stamped TOWER and with a Crown at the tail, snap cap and chain, walnut three-quarter stock stamped with inspection marks, regulation brass mounts comprising butt-cap, trigger guard and fore-end cap, iron ramrod, stamped with Liege proofs and fitted with a later leather sling.
