An Unusual Pair of 34 Bore Flintlock Pistols by H. Nock, circa 1780. With turn-off barrels numbered respectively ‘1’ and ‘2’, faceted breeches similarly numbered, signed in script on the top flat, and engraved with foliage and a rocaille on the left side, shaped grooved tangs finely engraved with scrollwork on a matted ground, border engraved left and right hand actions each with engraved safety catches, bevelled flat-sided figured walnut butts, engraved trigger guards and traces of original finish.
