An 1895 VR&I Infantry Officers Sword
An 1895 Pattern VR&I Infantry Sword. With straight single edged blade, cut with a long central fuller beautifully etched blade, decorated with scrolling foliage and Royal cypher, with makers name, ‘ROB T MOLE & SONS, Birmingham Makers to the WAR & INDIA OFFICES’ Numbered, ‘M2678’ along the back-strap, regulation steel hilt with chequered back-strap, wire bound fish skin grip, in original steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
