A Volunteer Paget type Carbine
An Unusual 8-Bore Flintlock Paget Carbine. With browned barrel with brass fore-sight, stamped with London proofs, plain tang, domed lock signed HENSHAW (engraving picked out – gun holds on half-cock but not full-cock) figured full-stock (some dings and knocks commensurate with age) regulation brass mounts, saddle-bar and ring, stirrup ramrod.
