A Very Good Flintlock Blunderbuss Pistol by P. Bond, London. With octagonal to round brass barrel, belled at the muzzle, fitted beneath with a sprung bayonet, stamped below with London proofs, border engraved box-lock actions, signed within ovals, ‘P.BOND’ surrounded by stands of arms and, ‘No. 45 Cornhill London’ within an oval surrounded by stands of arms to the right, fitted with a sliding safety catch that locks the pan, swelling walnut butt with vacant rectangular escutcheon.
