A Very Good Cased Transitional Revolver by Leech of Chelmsford. With rifled octagonal sighted barrel, signed along the top ridge ‘LEECH CHELMSFORD’ cylinder engraved with a geometric band at the forward edge, stamped with Birmingham proofs, foliate engraved action, engraved bar-hammer and trigger guard, oviod butt cap with trap, retaining most original colour throughout: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including powder flask, bullet mould and ramrod, the exterior with vacant brass escutcheon.
