A Sweet Little Carriage Pistol by Wilson of London. Expertly reconverted to flintlock. With round sighted double barrels, engraved ‘WILSON LONDON’ along the central rib, double gold line inlaid breech block with platinum touch holes, profusely engraved steel tang cut with a sighting groove, stepped, bevelled locks fitted with sliding safety catches and signed underneath the pans, engraved with a sun-burst and foliage at the tails, full-stocked in walnut, cut with chequering at the grip and with vacant oval escutcheon, steel trigger guard engraved with foliage on the bow and pineapple finial, plain barrel bolt escutcheons and pineapple ramrod finial, brass tipped ramrod with concealed worm. Original collectors tag still attached.
