A Superb Small Pair of Flintlock Pocket Pistols
A Superb Pair of Small Flintlock Pocket Pistols by W. Parker, London. With round turn-off barrels, decorated with a foliate band at the muzzles and at the breeches, border engraved box-lock actions, signed ‘W.PARKER’ within an oval surrounded by stands of arms to the left and; ‘HIGH HOLBORN LONDON’ within and oval surrounded by stands of arms to the right, fitted with sliding safety catches that also lock the pans (one has an old reaper – see photographs) chequered swelling butts with rectangular escutcheons engraved with the original owners initials, ‘L.L.’ and with border engraved silver buttons caps, fold down triggers. In beautiful condition overall.
