A Superb Cased Pair of Rifled Percussion Pistols by Thomas Bryce of Edinburgh. With heavy sighted octagonal barrels, signed ‘BRYCE EDINBURGH’ on the top flat and fitted with rear sight, foliate engraved case-hardened breech plugs with double platinum lines and pierced platinum plugs, profusely engraved barrel tangs, signed locks decorated with scrolling foliage and fitted with sliding safety catches, cocks decorated en suite, retaining most original finish, saw-handled half-stocks cut with chequering at the grips, foliate engraved steel mounts retaining lots off original finish, with brass tipped ramrods: in their original lined and fitted case retaining all accessories including mallet, bullet mould, powder flask etc, with original trade label. A fine set.
