A Superb Pair of Flintlock Duelling Pistols by Wogdon & Barton, With browned sighted barrels engraved ‘Wogdon & Barton London’ along the top flats and stamped underneath with London proofs and Wogdons barrel smith mark, decorated with geometric designs at the breech and with gold touch-holes, foliate engraved tangs incorporating rear-sights, signed, stepped, bevelled locks with sliding safety catches and set-triggers, full-stocked in walnut with blued steel mounts comprising trigger guard, decorated with a spray of foliage on the bow and stylised pineapple finial and engraved ramrod pipes, in superb condition overall retain much original finish, cased in a contemporary pistol box lined and fitted, with some accessories including bullet mould, turn-screw and red leather covered three-way flask, the exterior with flush fitting brass carrying handle and circular brass escutcheon.
