A Superb 4 Barrel Pistol by Lang

A Superb Four Barrel Percussion Pistol by Joseph Lang. With browned four-shot sighted barrel block, signed ‘J.LANG 7 HAYMARKET, LONDON’ on two of the ribs, deeply stamped London proofs, platinum plugs and with side mounted ramrod. Border engraved box-lock action profusely decorated with scrolling foliage, hammers engraved en suite, sliding safety catches that lock the hammers (one spur to the right safety catch missing) chequered walnut grip, engraved butt cap with concealed trap, engraved trigger guard. The pistol retains almost all of its original finish. It has also been suggested that this pistol was produced for a left handed user due to the layout of the triggers.
