A Superb 17th Century Hanger.
With slightly curved single edged blade, cut with two narrow fullers running along the back-edge of the blade, double edged towards the point, with unusual plaited iron hilt with down-turned shell guard, D-shaped knuckle guard with plaited pommel, antler grip. In lovely condition overall.
