A Scarce Paktong Barrelled Blunderbuss by Wilson. With Octagonal to round three-stage barrel, belled at the muzzle, engraved ‘Wilson London’ in script and stamped with London proofs and Wilsons own barrel smith mark at the breech, plain tang, signed border engraved lock fitted with a sliding safety catch, full-stocked in walnut with raised foliate moulding around the tang, complete with pasting mounts comprising, foliate engraved side-plate, vacant escutcheon, foliate engraved butt-plate and trigger guard, the latter with acorn finial, turned brass ramrod pipes and replacement ramrod. An incredibly scarce gun.
