A Scarce Double Barrelled Flintlock Pistol by Jn Jones & Co. With round turn-off barrels cut at the muzzles for a key and numbered ‘2’ and ‘3’, brass box-lock action stamped with Birmingham proofs and private proofs, border engraved action decorated with stands of arms signed within an oval to the left, ‘Jn JONES & Co’ and ‘London’ to the right, fitted above with sliding thumb piece safety, slab sided walnut butt inlayed with scrolling silver wire. In nice clean condition overall.
