A Scarce 38 Bore Adams Revolver No. 4980R. With octagonal sighted barrel, top strap signed in full along the top-flat ‘DEANE ADAMS & DEANE 30 KING WILLIAM ST. LONDON BRIDGE’. Serial numbered cylinder, border engraved frame , trigger guard and ovoidal butt cap all decorated with foliate scrollwork, with hinged circular butt-trap cover, sprung safety stop and arbor pin catch, chequered rounded butt.
