A Percussion Blunderbuss Pistol by J. R. Evans. With belled octagonal to round three-stage barrel, fitted with sprung bayonet above and stamped with Birmingham proofs, engraved breech, tang fitted with sliding bayonet release catch, bevelled border engraved lock (converted from Flintlock) signed ‘J R EVANS’ full-stocked in walnut with slab sided grip, engraved brass furniture comprising trigger guard engraved with a flower head on the bow and pineapple finial , turned ramrod pipes and brass tipped ramrod.
