A Named Sword
A Regimental 1822 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword of the Royal Warwick Regiment, Wilkinson No: 30219. With straight single edged blade double edged towards the point, cut with a long fuller along the back edge, etched with foliage and crowned VR cypher, initials ‘F.A.E.’ within a scroll on one side of the blade, with regulation brass hilt incorporating the Royal cypher, wire bound fish skin grip, in its steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
