A Named 1827 Pattern Officers Sword
A Named 1827 Officers Sword by Hobson & Sons, London. With slightly curved single edged blade, double edged towards the point, cut with a long central fuller, etched on both sides with scrolling foliage and marked with the original owners initials, ’T.B’ and ’16TH LANCASHIRE RIFLE VOLUNTEERS’ etched with the makers name at the ricasso, ‘HOBSON & SONS LITTLE WINDMILL ST. LONDON’, regulation hilt with wire bound fish skin covered grip and in original steel scabbard with two suspension rings.
