With sighted double barrels, decorated with a geometric border at the breech, profusely engraved foliate engraved tang cut with a sighting groove, stepped bevelled lock, profusely engraved with scrolling foliage and fitted with sliding safety catches, cocks decorated en suite, full-stocked in walnut, cut with chequering at the grip,with signed silver escutchoen, ‘James Butters’, profusely engraved steel trigger guard, turned ramrod pipe and original brass tipped ramrod with concealed worm. Retaining traces of original finish to all steel furniture.
