A Percussion Belt Pistol by T.K. Baker of London. With sighted, browned barrel, decorated with a band of engraving at the muzzle and signed along the top, ‘THOS.s K. BAKER. 34 St JAMES St LONDON’ fitted with captive ramrod beneath and stamped with London proofs, foliate engraved box-lock action, retaining traces of original finish, fitted with sliding safety catch, chequered walnut grip (some dings – see photograph) with vacant white metal escutcheon, profusely engraved steel butt-cap, with trap, trigger guard decorated with scrolling foliage. A crisp pistol with traces of original finish.
