A Highland Officers Broadsword, 1901-1910.
A Regimental pattern used by the Seaforth and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.
The sword has no retailers name but the proof slug has been found on a sword retailed by Anderson & Sons, Edinburgh.
The blade has been service sharpened and bears the Royal cypher of King Edward VII as well as thistles amid arches.
Steel scabbard with two loose rings and a ball terminal.
Overall in good condition with light surface staining. The shagreen hilt and silver wires are excellent.
