A Superb 10 Bore Double Barrel Percussion Howdah Pistol by John Wiggan. With browned twist barrels, border engraved breech decorated with scrolling foliage, central rib grooved for sighting, border engraved tang, also cut with sighting groove and decorated with scrolling foliage overall, border engraved locks signed JOHN WIGGAN on both sides and decorated with scrolling foliage, full-stocked in highly figured walnut and cut with chequering at the grip, flat butt, engraved steel trigger guard, decorated with scrolling foliage on the bow and retaining a large amount of original colour, single ramrod pipe with brass tipped rammer.
