With browned octagonal sighted barrel decorated with a geometric band at the breech, profusely engraved steel tang incorporating rear-sight, stepped bevelled-lock signed ‘Richards’ in script and decorated throughout with scrolling foliage, the cock decorated en-suite, full-stocked in walnut (old repair near the front of the lock) vacant oval escutcheon, large engraved steel trigger guard, with set-trigger, steel ramrod pipes and white metal mounted ramrod with worm.
