A Flintlock Holster Pistol

A 14 Bore Brass Mounted Flintlock Holster Pistol by Heylin of London, Circa 1760. With round three stage sighted barrel engraved with scrolling foliage stamped with London proofs and barrel smiths mark, border engraved tang cut with a sighting groove, signed border engraved lock, full stocked in walnut with a raised carved apron around the tang, completed with brass furniture comprising side-plate, long eared butt cap with grotesque mask, escutcheon at wrist, trigger guard with stylised acanthus leaf finial and turned ramrod pipes with horn-tipped ramrod.
